Ingredients
Bread bowl paddles ingredients:
1 1/2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup olive oil
spicy chili ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound italian turkey sausage removed from casing
1 (15 ounce) can Black beans (drained)
1 (19 ounce) can Cannellini white beans (drained)
1 (19 ounce) can chili - no beans
1 cup prepared chunky salsa
sliced green onions for garnish
shredded cheddar cheese for garnish

Preparation
Step 1
Preparation for Bread Bowl & Paddles
Step 2
Carve out center core of bread within 1-inch of bottom and sides keeping bread intact.
Step 3
Cut reserved bread horizontally into 1/2-inch layers.
Step 4
Brush both sides of layers with olive oil. Cut layers into about 18 'paddles' that measure about 3x1 1/2x1/2-inches.
Step 5
Place paddles on foil-lined baking sheet; sprinkle with cheese.
Step 6
Brush inside of bowl lightly with olive oil. Place bowl on separate baking sheet.
Step 7
Bake bowl and paddles in a preheated 350° F oven for 11-13 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
Step 8
Preparation for Spicy Chili
Step 9
Heat oil over medium heat in 3 qt. saucepan. Add sausage and brown.
Step 10
Add next 4 ingredients, cook until hot.
Step 11
Pour into prepared bread bowl. Garnish with onions and cheese.
Step 12
Place paddles around bowl. Serve immediately.
