Chef Keoni Simmons
Chef Keoni Simmons grew up in Huntington Beach. He received his first cookbook in 5th Grade and since then, became very passionate with food. His ethnic background of Hawaiian, Korean and American has given him the curiosity to cook many different styles, most preferably Pacific Rim comfort food. When he’s not cooking up a storm, he’s following his team- the Pittsburgh Steelers, watching new movies in theaters, or exploring the craft beer scene of Southern California.

Ingredients

1 lb package of pre-shredded Cabbage Blend (in the produce section)

2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar

2 Tbsp sugar

½ tsp sea salt

½ Cup mayonnaise

ground black pepper

¼ tsp Celery seed

Preparation
Step 1
Dissolve the sugar and salt into the vinegar in a large bowl.
Step 2
Add the mayonnaise, Pepper and Celery Seed.
Step 3
Using a whisk, mix until there is a smooth dressing consistency.
Step 4
Add the shredded cabbage and mix well, covering every piece.
