Ingredients
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion chopped
1 Bell pepper, chopped
1 pound Ground beef or turkey
29 ounces Tomato sauce
1/2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1 can Pineapple rings, keep juice for sauce
1/4 cup Pineapple juice
Tabasco To taste
Garlic salt To taste
Pepper To taste
Preferred steak seasoning To taste
Preparation
Step 1
Saute onion and bell pepper in oil until softened. Add the beef or turkey. Cook until browned.
Step 2
Add the tomato sauce, worcestershire sauce, red wine vinegar and pineapple juice. Mix.
Step 3
Add the seasonings and Tabasco to taste. Start with 1/2 teaspoon each.
Step 4
Simmer for 30-60 minutes.
Step 5
Serve on King's Hawaiian Hamburger Buns, top with a pineapple ring and enjoy!
