Hearty and Healthy Hawaiian Sandwich Stack

4 slices KING’S HAWAIIAN Original Hawaiian Sweet Sliced Bread
1/4 cup cooked mashed sweet potato
1 teaspoon salsa verde
1 fully cooked smoked ham steak, cut to fit the bread slice
1 thin slice sweet onion
1/4 cup small dice tropical fruit mix
1 teaspoon sweet chili sauce
1 tablespoon Softened Butter
1 teaspoon finely chopped macadamia nuts
1 teaspoon shredded coconut
1 teaspoon snipped mint
1/4 teaspoon black sesame seeds


Step 1
Cut each bread slice into a 3 inch square.(Reserve the trimmings for another use.)

Step 2
Combine the sweet potato and salsa verde till well combined, then spread on 1 side of a bread slice.

Step 3
Cover with another bread slice, then place the ham and onion on top.

Step 4
Cover with a 3rd bread slice, then combine the fruit and chili sauce.

Step 5
Spoon onto the bread, then cover with the final bread slice.

Step 6
Mix together the butter, nuts, coconut, mint and sesame seeds till well blended, then spread over top of the sandwich.
