Strawberries and Summer go hand in hand, add them to KING'S HAWAIIAN bread with some whipped cream and you have the perfect cool sweet treat.
Preheat Convection Oven or Regular Oven to 350. Take the rolling pin and roll the 3 slices of Original King’s Hawaiian Sweet Sliced Bread into flat pieces. It’s almost as if your flattening the bread to make it like a crepe.
Spread a thin layer of the cream cheese onto the thinly rolled bread. Then spread the strawberry spread on top of the cream cheese and thinly rolled bread.
Once you finished placing the spreads on each slice of bread, roll each slice into an individual rolled up pocket. Place a skewer inside each roll to hold the rolls together and to keep them from unrolling.
Place the 3 rolls onto the baking sheet and place the baking sheet into the convection oven or regular oven for 1-2 minutes until the bread is slightly golden. Cool rolls in the refrigerator for 5 minutes.
Cut the strawberries into thin slices and then take the rolls out of the refrigerator and place them on a plate. Place 2 scoops of Cool Whip onto the rolls and scatter the strawberries around the cool whip and rolls.
Serve and enjoy. Rolls can be eaten by hand or dipped into the whipped cream.
