  • 1/4 pound Fried Ham
  • 3-4 Potato & Cheddar Pierogies
  • 4 Green Onions
  • 2 tablespoons Butter (or vegetable oil)
  • 1 KING'S HAWAIIAN Original Hawaiian Sweet Hamburger Buns

Preparation

Preparation

A delicious combination of flavors including fried ham (sliced from the shank), potato and cheese pierogies & green onion.
Step 1
Slice up about a quarter pound of ham (from a cooked shank) and break into small pieces.
Step 2
In a frying pan, melt 1 Tablespoon of Butter or use vegetable oil. Add Ham and keep at medium heat. Fry until slightly black and crispy around the edges or to your liking.
Step 3
In a separate frying pan, melt a tablespoon of butter or use vegetable oil and add 3 - 4 potato and cheddar pierogies. ( I use store bought frozen pierogies, any brand or homemade will work as well).
Step 4
Cook pierogies, flipping & stirring occasionally until they are slightly golden brown on both sides.
Step 5
Cut up pierogies into smaller bits, or until it looks like chunky mashed potatoes.
Step 6
Slice up 4 or so green onions into small pieces & mix in with the chopped pierogies or use as a top layer - or both, your choice.
Step 7
Toast hamburger buns in the oven or on a grill to your liking.
Step 8
Add fried ham on the bottom followed by the pierogies and onions.
