LIKO LEHUA

KAUA‘I

PRODUCTS FROM
THE GARDEN ISLE

Four generations ago, the inspiration for Liko Lehua originated in a little town west of Hilo and nestled on the slopes of the volcano Mauna Loa. There, the groves of 'ōhi'a lehua trees and their beautiful red blossoms represented new beginnings and growth for the Kaneali’i family. In 1996, sisters Diane and Arlene started making gourmet butter spreads as a fundraiser for local soccer teams and named their brand Liko Lehua, representing their love of the 'ōhi'a lehua groves and the continued growth it has inspired for generations of their 'ohana (family).

The brands’ gourmet butters were made in small batches with locally sourced and natural ingredients. They were so popular that the brand soon grew into a thriving family run business. In 2011, Diane entrusted her niece, Dawn, with leadership of the enterprise. With the help of her husband and three children, Dawn continues to run the business. Their products have been shared with people throughout the world, as a joyful reminder of the tropical scents and flavors of Hawai'i.

Now with over 25 years in business, some things still haven’t changed:

  • 100% family owned and operated
  • Locally sourced products
  • Natural, farm fresh ingredients
  • Quality control through small batches
  • World class taste
