  • 1 package of KING'S HAWAIIAN Sweet Pretzel Hamburger Buns
  • 1/2 cup Grillo's Pickle Chips
  • 1 cup onions, sliced
  • 8 tsp mustard whole grain
  • 4 tsp mayonnaise
  • 1 arugula for garnish
  • 1 lb chicken breast
  • 4 tsp salted butter
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 8 cups of canola oil
  • 4 tsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Our unique twist on a Chicken Schnitzel Sandwich incorporating our Pretzel Hamburger Bun will elevate any tailgate!
Step 1
Split chicken breast into 4 equal portions (4oz each). With a meat mallet, lightly flatten chicken breast and set aside.
Step 2
In three small bowls; scramble raw egg in one, flour in the second and panko crumbs in the third. Season bowl that contains flour with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Drench chicken in flour, then egg, and then finally coat with panko.
Step 4
Heat oil in a medium sauté pan on medium (350 degrees).
Step 5
Fry the coated chicken patty to a golden brown and to a internal temperature of 170 degrees.
Step 6
Sauté onion rings in a small sauté pan on medium heat with olive oil.
Step 7
Butter and toast the KING'S HAWAIIAN Sweet Pretzel Hamburger Buns.
Step 8
Spoon mustard onto the bottom of the KING'S HAWAIIAN Sweet Pretzel Hamburger Buns, and top with arugula.
Step 9
Place chicken schnitzel on arugula.
Step 10
Place pickles on top of schnitzel and then onions.
Step 11
Spoon mayonnaise onto the top bun.
Step 12
Finish with top bun. Enjoy!
