  • 1 package KING’S HAWAIIAN Original Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
  • Pork Belly :
  • 1.5 lb/ 680 g pork belly
  • 6 tbsp/ 88 ml vinegar
  • 6 tbsp/ 113 g salt
  • 1.5 tbsp/ 13 g peppercorn
  • 9 cloves of garlic
  • 6 bay leaves
  • oil for deep frying
  • Spicy Soy Glaze :
  • 1.5 cups/ 350 ml soy sauce
  • .75 cup/ 175 l rice vinegar
  • 1.5 cup/ 300 g brown sugar
  • 1.5 tbsp/ 7 g minced garlic
  • 1 1/2 minced Thai chili, to taste (optional)
  • 1.5 tsp / splash sesame oil
  • Pickled Cabbage :
  • 1.5 cup/ 350 ml warm water
  • 1.5 cup/ 350 ml vinegar
  • .75 cup/ 151 g sugar
  • 3 tbsp/ 57 g salt
  • 1 large purple cabbage, thinly sliced
  • Garnish for sliders: green onions
