  • For the croutons :
  • 1 package (12-pack) KING'S HAWAIIAN Original Hawaiian Sweet Rolls, cut into cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • For the salad :
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 cup gherkin, sliced (pickled cucumber)
  • 3 eggs, hard-boiled and shredded
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, chopped into large pieces
  • 1/2 cup sliced baby bella mushrooms, sauteed with olive oil, butter, thyme, oregano, salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup fresh pineapple, diced
  • 1 1/2 cups arugula
  • For the dressing :
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon mustard powder
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons water
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons cream or milk
