Break up your morning routine by breaking up a delicious loaf of KING'S HAWAIIAN Original Hawaiian Sweet Round Bread. Honey, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, coconut, and sweet satisfaction.
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400° F.
Step 2
Combine sugar, butter, and honey in a small saucepan.
Step 3
Cook over low heat for 5 minutes; stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
Step 4
Reserving 1 1/2 tbsp. coconut for garnish, blend remaining coconut, cinnamon, and nutmeg into glaze.
Step 5
Remove loaf from aluminum pan.
Step 6
Make 4 vertical slices in loaf about 1 1/2 inches apart stopping 1/2 inch from bottom crust.
Step 7
Open each slice and spread 1-2 tbsp. of glaze on one side of bread.
Step 8
Press together. Continue until all slices are filled.
Step 9
Turn loaf 1/4 and make another 4 cuts as above and fill with glaze.
Step 10
Press loaf together and place back into pan.
Step 11
SPREAD remaining glaze over top of bread, sprinkle with reserved coconut.
Step 12
Bake 10 minutes.
Step 13
Serve warm.
