Wexler’s Deli is offering a special Aloha Reuben, which brings together toasted King’s Hawaiian Sliced Bread, corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and Russian dressing, plus pineapple for an extra punch of flavor.
On a warm griddle (or skillet over medium heat), add the butter and the two slices of King’s Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet Sliced Bread, then toast the bread until it is golden brown on both sides, and move to a plate.
On the same griddle (or skillet), add the sauerkraut, as well as two slices of Swiss cheese right on top, and let melt.
On both slices of bread, spread the Russian dressing evenly. Once the sauerkraut and cheese have warmed through, add to one half of the bread.
Add the two slices of pineapple to the griddle (or skillet) and lightly caramelize. Once caramelized, add to the sandwich on top of sauerkraut and Swiss cheese.
To finish, add corned beef to the other slice of bread, and close the sandwich. Cut in half and enjoy.
