Ahi Street Tacos

1 pound Yellowfin Tuna "Sushi Grade"

2 teaspoons Cajun spice

6 teaspoons canola oil

12 each Corn Tortilla

1/2 cup Sweet Chili Sauce (Mae Ploy)

1 cup 1/8th inch small dice Fresh pineapple

2 teaspoons small chopped Chives

1 teaspoon black sesame seeds

1 head 1/8th julienne Nappa Cabbage

1/2 head 1/8th julienne Purple Cabbage

Step 1
Cut Ahi Tuna into 1x1 rectangles 3 inches long, season all four sides with Cajun spice
Step 2
In a small Teflon sauté pan heat oil on medium high heat
Step 3
When oil is hot gently place seasoned tuna into pan, sear each side for 7 seconds
Step 4
Place seared tuna into refrigerator to cool for 10 minutes
Step 5
In a medium bowl mix all ingredients in a sub recipe for pineapple salsa, set aside
Step 6
In a small Teflon sauté pan toast tortilla, not too crispy
Step 7
Overlap two tortillas and place dry slaw on the middle of the tortillas lengthwise
Step 8
Cut Ahi Tuna into triangles, place on slaw and top with salsa
