
Bacon Wrapped Cheese Dogs Topped With Bacon

- 1 package King's Hawaiian Hot Dog Buns
- 1 package hot dogs
- 1 package thinly sliced bacon
- cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Preparation
- 1 CHEESE SAUCE- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat; whisk flour into butter until smooth. Pour milk into butter mixture and stir with a wooden spoon to combine. Cook and stir until mixture thickens, about 3 minutes. Add Cheddar cheese and stir until cheese is melted, about 3 minutes more.
- 2 HOT DOGS -Slice hotdogs in half lengthwise. Cut two cheddar cheese slices to fit the width of the hotdog. Stack two slices on the bottom half of the hot dog followed by the top half.
- 3 Use 1-2 strips of bacon and tightly wrap entire hot dog.
- 4 Grill on high heat 8-10 minutes until bacon hot dog is charred on all sides. Remove and place on a wire rack.
- 5 In a medium saucepan, cook chopped bacon. Drain excess oil on paper towel lined plate.
- 6 Place bacon-wrapped hot dog on an Original King’s Hawaiian Sweet Hot Dog Bun followed by cheese sauce and crispy bacon.
