An ono cream cheese mixture with sugar and vanilla is stuffed between KING'S HAWAIIAN Original Hamburger Buns and rolled in crushed graham crackers to make this perfectly sweet French toast!
Mix cream cheese, sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla in a small bowl until smooth. Make sandwiches with the cream cheese mixture using the King’s Hawaiian Hamburger Buns.
Add milk, splash of vanilla, and egg to a shallow dish or bowl. Whisk well. Place graham cracker crumbs in a second shallow dish.
Heat griddle or frying pan over medium-low heat. Spray with cooking spray or melt butter on the hot surface to prevent sticking.
Dip each sandwich in the egg, turning to coat completely. Then dip the sandwich in the graham cracker crumbs and turn to coat, being sure to get the sides, top, and bottom covered with the crumbs.
Place each sandwich on the griddle and press it down with a spatula to flatten slightly. Cook about 1-2 minutes on each side, until golden. Serve hot with syrup, if desired.
