Ingredients
Ingredients (Tri-Tip) *
2-3 pounds Tri-tip
1 tablespoon sea salt
1 tablespoon Granulated Garlic
1 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoon Brown sugar
BBQ sauce
8-12 slices KING’S HAWAIIAN Original Hawaiian Sweet Sliced Bread
*
Ingredients (Spicy Asian Slaw) *
1 pound Shredded cabbage or slaw mix
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon Vinegar
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons Sriracha sauce (if you want it spicy)
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Step 2
Combine all dry ingredients to make a rub. Massage rub into the trip-tip, distributing generously
Step 3
Bake for 45 minutes (medium rare). After taking roast out of the oven, let cool then slice thinly
Step 4
Combine all Asian Slaw ingredients, mix well, and chill
Step 5
Place a generous portion of meat on to a grilled piece of sliced bread. Then spread your favorite BBQ sauce onto the meat. Add a layer of Spicy Asian Slaw (or you can eat this on the side), crown your sandwich with another slice of bread and enjoy!
