  • For the pulled pork: 1/3 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/3 cup Pineapple juice
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chinese five spice
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, grated
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon (or to taste) chili sauce, such as samba oelek or sriracha
  • (1) 3-pound pork butt or shoulder
  • 2 cups pineapple, cut into small pieces
  • For the slaw: *
  • 4 cups red cabbage, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice or rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon fish sauce or soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • For the sliders: *
  • 12 King's Hawaiian Sweet Hawaiian Rolls, halved and toasted or grilled
  • 12 chunks pineapple
  • 1 bunch green onions sliced
