Pulled Pork and Apple Coleslaw

  • 1 package Coleslaw mix
  • 4 or 5 Apples (Fuji apples)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
  • 1/2 cup Chopped pecans
  • Apple BBQ Sauce: *
  • 1 cup Favorite BBQ sauce (Most store-bought sauces offer an
  • 1 cup Apple jelly
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

Preparation

  • 1 For the Apple Coleslaw:
  • 2 Julianne your apples and make sure to pour some lemon juice over them as you Julienne them so they don't turn brown.
  • 3 Mix all ingredients in together and sit in the fridge until your ready to top the pulled pork sandwiches.
  • 4 For the Apple BBQ Sauce:
  • 5 Whisk all ingredients together and sit in the fridge until it's time to top the pulled pork sandwiches.
  • 6 Assembly:
  • 7 Simply pile some pulled pork on the bottom half of a King's Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet Hamburger Buns, then top with some apple coleslaw and apple BBQ sauce.
