Recipe Details

1.5 lbs Salmon

1 Tbsp Cooking Oil

Miso Ginger Vinaigrette

Wasabi Mayo

2 c Baby Spinach, washed

1 Bottle King’s Hawaiian Sweet Island Ginger Sauce

1 Package King’s Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet Dinner Rolls

Step 1
Cut Salmon into 2-inch chunks, yielding approx. 12 pieces. Place salmon in a covered bowl or bag with King’s Hawaiian Sweet Island Ginger sauce making sure each piece is fully covered in marinade (approx. 1 cup) and let sit for 15 minutes.
Step 2
While salmon is marinating, toss spinach in Miso Vinaigrette, or a vinaigrette of your choice.
Step 3
Heat frying pan with oil to medium-high heat and sear salmon for about 1 minute each side. Then use any extra sauce to brush onto salmon giving it a nice glaze, letting salmon cook for another minute or two, turning as needed. Keep an eye on your heat making sure the sauce does not burn, or your salmon doesn’t overcook.
Step 4
Separate and slice your KING’S HAWAIIAN dinner rolls in preparation to build your sliders. Bottom roll, wasabi mayo, a few spinach leaves, salmon, top roll.

Salmon can be a tricky fish to use for sliders because the filets are uneven. Don’t be afraid to use your knife skills to trim and even out your salmon chunks, making them nice, square and thin enough to fit in your mouth.
