Ingredients

2 KING'S HAWAIIAN Slider Buns

1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons KING'S HAWAIIAN Sweet Pineapple BBQ Sauce

2 slices Bacon

2 Chicken tenders

1/4 teaspoon Salt

1/8 teaspoon Ground black pepper

2 Fresh pineapple rings

Canola cooking spray

2 teaspoons King’s Hawaiian Onion Garlic Butter, softened

Lettuce

2 slices Cheddar cheese

1 Small tomato, sliced

1 Onion, sliced

Preparation
Step 1
Heat the oven to 400°F. Heat the grill to to 350°F. Line a small baking sheet with heavy duty aluminum foil. Place 6 tablespoons of barbecue sauce in a small bowl.
Step 2
Place the bacon on the lined sheet pan and place in the oven for 18 minutes or until crisp and done. Remove bacon from pan; set both the bacon and the pan aside.
Step 3
Season chicken tenders with salt and pepper on both sides. Cook tenders on the grill until the internal temperature reaches 135°F. Remove chicken from heat. Submerge partially cooked tenders in barbecue sauce and place on the same baking sheet used to cook the bacon. Discard used barbecue sauce.
Step 4
Transfer tenders to the oven for 6 to 8 minutes, until internal temperature reaches 160°F and the barbecue sauce caramelizes.
Step 5
Spray one side of the pineapple rings with canola cooking spray and place, sprayed side down, on the hot grill for 3 minutes. Reserve.
Step 6
Remove chicken tender from oven and baste tenders again with 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce. Return tenders to the oven for an additional 2 minutes. Remove tenders from the oven and allow them to rest for 3 to 5 minutes to retain their juices.
Step 7
Separate the King’s Hawaiian slider buns. Spread the King’s Hawaiian Onion Garlic Butter on both the tops and bottoms of the slider buns and toast on the grill until golden brown.
Step 8
On the bottom halves of each bun, layer lettuce, a chicken tender, a slice of cheese, a bacon strip, tomato slice, grilled pineapple slice, and a slice of onion. Divide the remaining two tablespoons of King’s Hawaiian Pineapple Barbecue Sauce between the two sliders. Place the top of each slider bun half on top of the sandwiches. Serve.
