Recipe Details

1 pound ground beef

1 Red Onion

1 large tomato

4 large lettuce leaves

1 cup Bleu cheese crumbles

1/3 cup Sriracha hot sauce

4 KING'S HAWAIIAN Original Hawaiian Sweet Hamburger Buns

Step 1
Heat a charcoal grill until coals are red.
Step 2
Divide mixture into 8 equal portions, shaping into 1/2-inch-thick patties.
Step 3
Spoon 1 tablespoon of blue cheese crumbles into the center of 4 patties. Top with 1 tablespoon of sriracha hot sauce. Top with remaining patties. Press edges together securely to seal.
Step 4
Cook for about four minutes, or until meat is firm around the outside and the juices start to pool. Flip the burgers and grill for another three minutes or done to your liking.
Step 5
Serve the burgers on KING’S HAWAIIAN Original Hawaiian Sweet Hamburger bun with lettuce leaf, tomato slice, and red onion slice.

Courtney Whitmore says:

To prepare these burgers for traveling to your tailgate, simply prep the stuffed beef and refrigerate until heading out. Simply grill them up and assemble on King’s Hawaiian hamburger buns at the tailgate. Watch the crowds enjoy these burgers. They might not make it to half time!
