After working in beauty industry’s hub of New York City, Alice Kim was inspired during a trip to Hawai'i to create a beauty line unlike any other using the vast and biodiverse islands of Hawai'i as her muse. As she traveled the different islands with her husband Vira, originally from Hawai'i, she found inspiration in Hanalei- a small town in the north shore of Kaua'i- known for growing a variety of fruits, vegetables, tropical plants, and botanicals.

Hanalei Company was born with the idea of island-powered beauty. Their skincare products are innovative and use locally sourced ingredients and botanicals native to Hawai'i to create efficacious formulas that are proven to restore, hydrate and balance the skin.
