Manele (pronounced ma • neh • leh) Bay is where it started for Chef Adam. As a local boy who grew up on the small island of Lāna'i, his dream was to become a chef. When 17 years old, Adam rescued a tourist from drowning in Manele Bay and the grateful tourist helped Adam achieve his dream by sending him to culinary school. Adam made the most of this opportunity and became a Food Network show winner, cookbook author and world-renowned celebrity Chef Adam!

With demand for his popular flavors, he started Manele Spice Co. to offer a range of Hawai'i-inspired spice and salt blends to enhance the delicious flavors in meats, side dishes, cocktails and more.
