One of the easiest ways to bring our family together is with a delicious meal and comfort food is an easy way to their hearts. I love finding unique ways to use some of my favorite classic foods and bread pudding is one of those recipes that really remind me of home. King’s Hawaiian Round Bread is one of those foods that simply brings comfort and joy and this recipe captures that!

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

You’ll first want to start by cutting the KING'S HAWAIIAN Original Hawaiian Sweet Round Bread into cubes and setting them aside in a large bowl. I might even suggest allowing the bread to sit out for a few hours if time allows. You will also want to start cooking your bacon to cut into pieces later.

Then you will begin by prepping your fresh pineapple and cutting it up into small pieces. You could easily substitute canned pineapple if you don’t have fresh available.

Once your pineapple is cut up combine the raisins, milk and pineapple into a sauce pan and cook until the pineapple is nice and soft and starting to fall apart. Add your heavy cream and mix together.

Once the mixture is well mixed together you will add it to your cubed bread and add the eggs.

Bread Pudding

You’ll need to chop your cooked bacon into small pieces and top your bread pudding with your fresh bacon bits.

Simply bake in the oven at 375 degrees and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden on top.

The fresh pineapple and bacon are really savory and yet slightly sweet you’ll love the mixture with the KING'S HAWAIIAN bread. You can easily change up this recipe to your family’s liking and enjoy it together in a cozy spot this summer!
